Advocacy and Support for Migrants in the Midlands
The UK’s immigration policies and systems are in crisis, with long waiting-lists and over-complicated processes. Our team offers support for migrants and those working with migrants to ensure human rights are upheld.
Our Services
Migrant Support Training
Anyone working with the public requires up to date knowledge of migrant rights and the law. Many migrants struggle to access public services because those working on the front line are unaware of what they must provide.
MIST offers training and education on the legal rights of migrants that professionals and third sector organisations must uphold. Our programmes are suitable for charities, universities, housing associations, and more.
Immigration Advice Services – Coming Soon
MIST cannot currently provide immigration advice services, as we are not yet regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC). We are currently preparing an application, and we expect to provide these services in the future.
Please check back to hear when we can begin offering Immigration Advice, Advocacy and Support.
Timeline of MIST Development
MIST was founded in 2023, after the loss of a key immigration support organisation in Birmingham. At present, we are only able to offer our training services, but watch this space.
